Realistically speaking, he had a really bad year, but wasn't next year was supposed to be our year. This board was saying all preseason long that we were going to have a 3 loss season, we were going to take our lumps and bumps and give Leslie one more year to make a statement about his hard work he's put in. For the first time since mett, we'll have a returning starting QB, a heisman front runner, a returning starting MLB ( if he stays, and if miles is gone, so is he. You can count on it), we'll finally be back to where we want to be on the DL.

All preseason this board was putting all their chips in the bag for the 2016 season. So why when we got our 3 losses, you guys were surprised? You didn't think bama could stop fournette like he was a god or something? You didn't think that because of all of the early departures that it wouldn't catch up to us? You didn't think after you did have a 3 loss season that it was just going to be fine and dandy with the delusional fan base that thinks we can be ranked top 5 at the end of the season every season.

I can't wait till we fire miles and we put our program into the hands of a mindless AD. Do we really think that he can hire someone that we can hand our program to, along with the delusional fans, and him immediately have success?

If we can't hire someone who can immediately have success, along with the delusional fan base, then why don't we give miles one more year. You let him make his own decision on his DC and OC because then again does he have trust in them for a one and done type scenario? If he does, then it's one year and well see what he can do. Giving Leslie one more year does not mean we fall into the Texas mediocrity, it means we give a man one more shot to write his own finish. It's one year, not 10 more like Texas gave Mac. Miles has done enough for our program in keeping it relevant since '07, to get one more year.

So, one more year right? He doesn't get it done, let him retire, because he will. He does get it done, all the delusionals eat shite and he still retires because he's wrote his own finish and he's done with the delusional fanbase we call our own.

We need to show some loyalty and everyone back off the ledge. A win over A&M will stop this crazy train I think....

I wish you pumpers could understand that nothing will change. Keep living in your fantasy world where miles suddenly becomes aware there is a problem. It's not like a light bulb is going to pop on for him. He doesn't see the problem and never will.

Like I said, EVERYONE one here was saying this. If you think we were supposed to win the natty this year with a first year starting QB, under miles at that, is apart of the delusional fanbase. If you think he's going to waste another year of fournette? Do you think putting the hire into the ADs hands wouldn't waste fournette a last year? If you don't think so, you're delusional. If we go 4-4 in the SEC again, MILES RETIRES. Or the delusional fanbase will fire him, after he retires.

2013 we had one of the most dominant offenses in LSU history. 3,000 yard passer. 1,000 yard rusher. 2 1,000 yard receivers. Is it really that much different now? (schematically speaking) OR is it players not being able to perform/execute the game plan? I agree the last 3 weeks have been HELL! But a win this weekend means all is good again in the eyes of the most delusional fan base in America.

Every coach plays the angle when they're in demand...nothing to see there.

If we can get a slam dunk now (AKA Jimbo Fischer, Chip Kelly, etc.)....you have to make that move....if you can't get your 1A guy this year then maybe you do wait.

I still think waiting fixes nothing we would definitely lose at least 3-4 games...Fournette is gone....and Harris is in the gutter. Not to mention we have wasted one of, what I believe is, the better WR talents to come through LSU in Dupre. Make no mistake about it if Dupre played at Ok State or Baylor he would be a top 15 pick no doubt.

We don't have Odell, Landry, and Mett anymore. The offensive line isn't as good either, so that would call for an adjustment to the game plan in my opinion. The fact that the offense is the same with Harris' obviously different skill set is the fricking problem. Les doesn't adjust to his players strength and just runs the same shite regardless of who is on the field. The offense in 2013 was good because he has the right players to make it work and when those guys are gone then you need to adjust to what you recruited, or recruit players for the offense you want to run instead of trying to put a square peg in a round hole every season. Not that hard to figure out and I don't know 1/32nd the amount about football that our coaches are supposed to know. It blows my fricking mind every week.

I think everyone would have to agree. That's why you give him one more year to get things right, he doesn't, you rightfully fire him. But don't fire him when he has a shitload of potential for next year.

So pathetic and pitiful that so many have now embraced the PC Black Bear Battle Cry."Wait until Next Year."

Why can't the pumpers acknowledge that the team is regressing as the year goes on. We are way worse now than we were early in the year. Yes, the competition got better, but we also got worse. The team that played Ole Miss wasn't as good as the one that played Bama. The OL has fallen apart adn the D is just flat bad now.
