I've felt Kirk has given us the benefit of the doubt ever since our National Championship against OSU. Mussberger is the one that has an obvious vendetta against us IMO.

I don't agree that Herbie necessarily dislikes LSU, at least since the 2007 Michigan confirmed source. He was thoroughly embarrassed and since then he has paid LSU lots of respect.

I don't think he hates LSU....at least he does not show that on air. I think he has an agenda to push Big 10 and Pac 12 football b/c those are the 2 main conferences that ABC is affiliated with.
Most CBS guys will favor the SEC teams b/c we are showcased on their network.
I do think that he may not personally like LSU b/c the LSU fans get on his case about every little thing he does.

During the game saturday we were sitting in the section right under him and 3rd qtr everyone turned around and pretty was like what now....He bowed and section went crazy and he put up the #1 sign. I'm sure he voted us in this weeks poll...so wouldnt say he hates us.

I can go all the way back to 2003 with this. He was one of the biggest USC fans when we went to the BCSNCG. In the weeks leading up to the final poll, he actually said it would be a "travesty" if LSU went instead of USC.
And frankly, he really didn't give us much love in 2007. Someone went through a lot of trouble after that season and made a you tube of his predictions and we would've been like 7-5 according to his picks. It was posted on here a while back.
The whole Les Miles thing blowing up in his face was just icing on the cake of his hatred for us that year.
We must've had some turning point with him. I can't remember much specific hatred coming from him for awhile, and Sat. night was nothing but praise as everyone has already said.
It's probably one of those things that people on this board just kept saying (with good reason), but it isn't really true. At least, not anymore.

And we are anchored. Probably the most annoying thing admins do on this board. Because there is nothing about it in the Guidleines/FAQ. It is purely subjective and no reason is ever given.

This all goes way back before 2007. He was here for Gameday and picked up some girl at Walk-on's on Friday night. He also picked up herpes, as discovered later by his wife's doctor.
