I think being critical is important. I don't always agree with him and I voice it often. But mostly, I agree with his moves. Maybe I don't voice that enough. I think we all realize that, besides from firing Javi, 95% of the college coaches out there wouldn't being doing close to as well as him.

Why does Fraley not start?

How is he not good enough? You think kramer is better? Chinea?
Posted on 4/5/14 at 11:45 pm to josh336
Fraley doesn't play second base or catcher.

But with robertson and/or chinea not in the lineup....a spot for fraley opens up

Chinea out, scivic at catcher, fraley can dh.
I guess mostly chinea is what im thinking about

People keep saying this but one thing comes to mind...
Kramer Robertson - .172, 11-64, 12K
Chris Chinea - .180, 9-50
Chris Sciambra - .212, 7-33
Jake Fraley - .385, 10-26
Hmmm...
Fraley goes to LF
McMuffin goes to DH
Sqcivicque goes to C or 1B
Hale goes to 2B

In the Fraley discussion, yes. But why does Coach keep playing KR??? Ok, he hustles, but he is clearly overmatched against SEC pitching at this point.

Paul Mainieri thinks Fraley's arse is too flat. Loves the way Sciambra fits in his uniform.

Again, People keep saying this too.
Coming into this weekend, guess who leads LSU in BA during SEC play?
Connor Hale - .324

Also, Kramer Robertson has 5 errors, 2nd on the team and one behind Alex Bregman who has 6.

Yet people say Coach is playing him for his defense. I guess he is hitting around .170 after tonight.

Apparently he has looked in good in practice during the week.

I don't notice much difference if any between Robertson and Hale at second defensively. But Robertson gives nothing offensively...I just think Fraley might be a nice bat behind Scivique. Sure he likely won't stay at a .385 clip but if he levels off at around .300 that's a lot better than what Chinea or Robertson bring to the lineup.

He hits the crap out of the ball . I don't care who is pitching , you need as many good hitters in the lineup as you can get . There is no reason , that makes sense , that he isn't in the lineup .
