I want to skull frick Arkansas this season. I want to destroy them. Those meth heads really still believe that they have a legitimate chance of beating us in Tiger Stadium and advancing to the NC game!
I guess they conveniently forgot the drubbing they took the last time they had to face an elite defense (Bama)?

I think it has a lot to do with how Petrino develops his teams. Arky is always better at the end of the year than at the beginning, hence why Bama has less trouble than LSU. To compound that, it seems that Miles's teams, at least recently, play flatter in November than earlier in the year. This is not a knock on Miles and in fact, this year's LSU team seems different than in years past.
All in all, none of the previous years matter and only the 2011 iterations of LSU and Arky matter. Hopefully LSU can continue to dominate its opponents.

We have been banged up in that game recently. brandon taylor was out last year. his replacement accounted for 14 pts.
Dorsey was still recovering fromt the chop block in 2007. our defense was struggling by years end due to inj. we were starting true frosh drake nevis. francois, alexander, were out. dorsey playing on one leg.
charles scott and k.w. were out for 2009 game. and our 3rd string r.b. was ridley. we just got the w.
2008 they were just better. we wern't that good in 2008. yet, lee had been hurt and it was jordan's 1st start i believe.
lastly, it usually means more and they play with more effort us.
if we get to the game healthy this year, i think we have a positive result.
They were just better in 2008

Was 2008 Arky under Houston Nutt?

Because most years it is their Super Bowl
I have been to every LSU/Arkansas game the last 10 years, witnessed 2 miracles on Markham Street, and only have to think back to 2003 to get a glimpse of what will happen in our house this year. The cochon de lait begins today and will end after we dominate this over-rated team in a few weeks. There is no Darren McFadden or Peyton Hillis to save you pigs this year.
Defense wins championships and destiny is near!

Because they want that sweet-arse trophy of course.

Injuries and just the wear and tear of the season favor the team with less overall talent.
Nutt got alot out of the players he had, and Petrino is an outstanding offensive/QB coach. The talent advantage we have is on the defensive side and in depth.
Further, there is a glut of film on both teams. That also evens out the talent advantages to a certain degree. They also just seem to get up for this game, as does Ole Miss, regardless of how good or bad they've looked the rest of the year.
