Play so badly? If Ridley and crew are getting it done, why change?

If its not broken dont fix it!

For me personally, he looked good in the spring game, and hasn't fumbled yet.

Ford in my opinion has more potential
Personally I think if you put Ware, Blue, Ford in place of Ridley through 3 games you would not see a drop in the stats but you may see an increase in those stats.

I think Ridley is doing a fine job.

But to me, if they are going to give a young guy significant carries, it should be the young guy most likely to make a big impact.
If that guy is Blue, then fine, let it be Blue. That would just be a surprise.

I jsut don't recall seeing carries this year that made me stop and say, "Dang, if only that had been Ford, he would have done so much better..."
The backs have performed well, so the inclination to always believe the "second stringer" would do better (a la the Jarrett Lee syndrome) is less compelling.

We are happy with average qb play so why not be happy with a slightly above average rb.

He ran for 100+ in both spring games and made us all question if our run D was a problem... we now know how good our run D is... Ford needs to be given the rock a few times, period.

Yes this all from high school, I know. But it is part of the reason why people want to see him, on top of his performances in scrimmages, and the fact Miles and Crowton spoke extremely highly of him.

That, and Miles continues to say he wants to get Mike Ford the ball, yet it doesn't happen.

I'm not saying these are my reasons, but there probably are reasons for some people.

You mentioned if its not broke then don't fix it. You are correct, but how do you know Ford wouldn't be better than Ridley?

Why did the Yankee fans want to see Lou Gehrig get in the game? Wally Pipp was an excellent first baseman.
