Because Miles was not his hire. He would have had it been his hire but he was hoping for the worst so it would play in his favor by not backing him. Curious if he ever let a coach go mid season. He said his policy is to wait for season's end.

they just decided to keep him During the game. And Jimbo turned us down with our best offer yesterday and this morning.

Maybe he has a master plan to destroy LSU athletics and simple missed with the Beth Torina hire......I have no idea about that, but I do know that he is the worst thing to happen to our university in my lifetime.

Because he was doing the right thing in trying to find a replacement before firing the guy he had. Guy said no and he went to plan B to keep Miles. You don't give a vote of confidence then fire the guy. Just as bad or worse.
