Without knowing all the details of the contracts and whatnot:

Teams are allowed a finite number of actual coaches.

Not sure how Lindsey's insurance benefits work out if/when he's officially replaced.

I'm sure both Kelly and Woodward are doing everything they can to keep his insurance up to speed. This wasn't a "fix it and forget about it afterwards" situation, like a broken bone for example.

You think Kelly or Woodward are worried about Lindsey’s insurance? LSU isn’t going to frick this dude out of insurance with a serious health condition.

CBK owned the fact that he should have hired someone like Jenkins earlier but somehow you have a bunch of posters trying to defend him saying it’s not his fault

It took game 5 for something to be done. 95 mil coach should be able to objectively identify gaps. No if ands or buts. After grambling we knew this was a consistent problem

I’m glad CBK owned up to it and now we can move forward

At least he was humble and open enough to admit he needed help, better late than never.

Kelly said the other day that Jenkins has no part in the scheme or rotating DL in and out. He’s there purely for coaching them on technique

Which he did during the off season

He seemed involved on the sideline.

"LSU" isn't his insurance, it's probably Blue Cross or something like that. He got an insurance package based on his employment, and insurances are notorious for combing things over to find a reason to limit/deny coverage.

Insurance open enrollment is in November, something we're all (most of us at least) about to do. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the timeframe LSU is working with, to move him to a different position and maintain his coverage.
