It’s against relief pitching. It’s like they spend all their time preparing for the starter and have no idea what the relievers do.

It shouldn't matter. If you score 9 runs spread through 9 innings, or put them all up in one, it should be plenty enough to win you games. A lot has been made of our hitting, but we've hit plenty well enough to win a lot of the games we lost.
