Is there a reason the baseball team is playing Grambling so early in the afternoon?

Because basketball takes precedence over baseball at LSU.

If Grambling doesn't have the bus back by midnight they get charged for another day.

Is the team flying out to Houston tomorrow night...? They may want to get over there a day early and get a practice session in at the juicer(credit to L=C). This is pure speculation on my part though.

It's clearly so that LSU fans have the opportunity to attend both games.

Basketball at 6 pm. Have to maximize the fan attendance for both sports. All about the dollar.
