why are people saying LSU admin/boosters are turning this into a shitshow

OTHER THAN that idiot BOS guy, Anderson, what the hell have others done? Alleva has been mute. all others have been mute (officially).
it's the media, local and national, that's turned this into a shitshow. and they are selling sensation for ad ratings.
all of these fan rumors are just as much to blame. it is now CONSIDERED FACT that Alleva leaked stuff out, Miles firing is a done deal, Jimbo Fisher is lined up to take over, etc, etc. the fans stating these things AS FACT have no idea what they are talking about.
some of our fanbase run with rumors because it's what they WANT to happen, not because it's factual. they are like a drunk lyching mob. the truth is not important, just hang the guy because we hate him.
there has been zero info coming out of the administration. sure, that says a lot but the season is not over and performance evals are usually held at seasons ends.

You don't think this was planned? Like this isn't something new. When miles said he's felt like he's been coaching for his job his whole time here, he meant it.

The media suddenly wants to portray Miles as some kind of victim and LSU fans as monsters....the same media who have been making fun of his goofiness all these years. Conveniently forgotten is the mediocrity that has crept into the program. It is as good as a reality show for ESPN

Les turned this into a shite show with his coaching and his team's performances. If they had even been anywhere close to well coached the last 3 weeks, this wouldnt be an issue.

The shitshow started when Alleva leaked info then backed it up with a "No comment" publically, allowing the power brokers to leak additional info to an eager media.
This all could have been handled privately via agents on the same timeline, then after (or even before) the A&M game they could have negotiated Les's exit and announced the new coach after the new coach's last game. Sure, there would have been rumors, but it wouldn't be this bad without Alleva getting the ball rolling.

100% correct. the "media" loves les miles. LSU is in a lose-lose situation with them. none of them even mention the reason his job is in jeopardy, they just quote oveall records and NC.

Miles is trying to play, "I'm a weak old man" sympathy role.
Reminded me on that episode of Everybody Loves Raymond when the old lady started pretending to limp to make her boys feel sorry for her.
This is the same sly bastard who got raises and extensions because he "might" be interested in Michigan and Arkansas. I feel no sympathy for a man about to pull in around 50 mill total when all is said an done.

Ok here is the deal. Jimbo is going through a divorce due to his wife sleeping with a black assistant coach at Florida St. This is more the reason he is ready to leave Florida St. Ed Orgeron is leaving now for the head coach at Syracuse. It's pretty much a done deal and will be announced soon. Very soon.
