The day they finally end their losing streak to us will be the day that cesspool of a board that is the SECR literally explodes.

That really may be the most pathetic thing I've seen on any board. This guy is even more embarrassing than some of the idiots you come across on the TD Rant. I feel bad for A&M fans who have to put up with this dickwad.

This!! They will literally riot in celebration. They brag about the most minor/moral victories. When A&M first came to the SEC they were bragging about beating a 2-9 LSU team twenty years ago. No lie. Earlier this year they were bragging that LSU carried Les off the field only because LSU beat A&M. Just recently A&M fans were acting like they won the Super Bowl because they beat LSU in basketball in the second round of the SEC tourney. The win was by a large margin but A&M was the higher seed, much better team, and LSU was not even a NCAA tourney caliber team. They treated this win like it was a win vs an undefeated Kentucky team and they celebrated like it too. Aggie fans act the same way ULL fans act like when they beat LSU at anything. It is very bizarre how obsessed they are with LSU.

A&M is literally the mother of all "little brothers" when it comes to existing in the shadow of another university. It is truly amazing that such an outstanding academic institution (yes, it is) with such great resources allowed the University of Texas to lead it around by its nose for basically its entire existence, which is where LSU comes in.

Athletically, A&M and its fans know of no other way to exist without directing their frustrations toward a superior rival. They have had decades upon decades of honing such an existence into a science. It is pathetic, but in a way it is the ultimate compliment.

PB & J.

I have come to the conclusion if you just don't click on an Aggie started thread you will be much better off. Not saying I adhere to this policy all the time but it is true.

Any thread they start will include these words, LSU and Coach......sucks. It's the same crap regurgitated over and over

Because they have male "yell leaders" who wear white coveralls. We have female cheerleaders in short skirts/tops. They have a wimpy arse dog as a mascot. We have Mike the Tiger. They have areas of grass on campus where no walking is allowed. We smoke a lot of grass, everywhere. They have a DQ as one of their social hot spots. We have 112 bars & clubs to choose from. To name just a few reasons.

I never had a problem with A&M fans until they migrated to this site. They are now top of my list for most hated fans of another SEC school, with Bama as a close 2nd. They are mad because even with all that money they claim to have and how poor LSU is, we still beat them regularly in almost every sport.

Because no one else spits out OBJ, Mickey, Bregman, Simmons, Fournette, Lange, etc, etc, on the "reggae" like us.

LSU fans are obsessed with bama because of their coach, and the fact they're our biggest obstacle to regaining supremacy in the West. I have no clue why A&M fans are obsessed with LSU.

UF also tends towards lots of smaller class room buildings, whereas LSU builds larger, taller buildings.

That was me he was quoting there. Anyone whose seen both UF and LSU's campuses knows that a true statement.

I guess no one told him LSU is currently building....

Football Ops Weight Room Extension

Construction: Football Ops Weight Room Extension

Patrick F. Taylor Hall renovation and expansion

PFT construction photos

And just finished...

LSU Tennis Complex Ribbon Cutting

Gymnastics Facility Grand Opening

And about to start construction on...

The Tiger Athletic Nutrition Center

TAF

The title of the thread is "I have no mouth but I must Rant"...it should be changed to "I suck, and I want everyone to know it".

keep in mind, TAMU was a small mens only cow college with mandatory ROTC up into the early 1970's...

LSU actually had a larger ROTC program without being a Senior Military College...and we owned their rear ends in football for many, many years...

I love the aggies. It is soooooo much fun to beat them in football. They have all of these crazy traditions, and soooo much hope and faith. Then they come up short again.

Some of y'all must be very young. LSU and A&M have had a long history of dislike.

LSU and A&M have played more often than LSU has played many SEC schools. LSU has pretty much owned the series with the exception of the Archer/Hallman era.

LSU and A&M have recruited against each other long before A&M ever even thought about joining the SEC. John David Crowe and Harvey Williams come to mind. LSU has huge numbers of Alumni in Texas and particularly in A&M's prime recruiting area. LSU has always gone into Texas and picked up top talent and many times at the expense of A&M.

The schools are similar in many majors and therefore many grads from both schools work in the same types of industry and there is interaction as a result.

The Petro Chemical and Refining Industries in both Louisiana & Texas also contributes to an interaction and competitiveness between the fan bases. There are many families with relatives who live in both states and the proximity of Houston to Baton Rouge makes interaction between the 2 schools very easy. LSU and A&M are closer to each other than any other SEC schools as well.

All these factors add up to a potential rivalry which was at a pretty high level under Arnsparger & Jackie Sherrill. A&M joining the SEC just rekindled the situation.
