Not an O or Alleva supporting moron! I am an LSU Tiger fan! Another idiot post that I'm sure will help recruiting! They are hurting on the line and a true fan would support the team instead of giving other teams a recruiting advantage with negative crap like this! Look in the mirror before calling others idiot. Don't worry, my opinion will not affect recruiting as much as recruits seeing that we are one of the worst ran programs in the SEC.
We have a joke of a coach. Our AD thinks he is a Head Coach.
But sure my opinion will influence a recruit to either come here or not come here as opposed to the current state of our program

Can I not enjoy the win and understand that beating a bad team does not mean that the future of this program is in good hands?

Yep, the weeks been nice. Was feeling cautiously optimistic. Then; first pop-up on my screen this morning was the Troy vs. South Alabama score-a 19-8 loss at home by the team I predicted wouldn’t lose another game.
So I move to “maybe South Alabama is a better team than realized” mode for optimism. Looked up their schedule and reality set in real fast. Loses include Idaho! Hell, even ULL beat Idaho.
I’m still scratching my head over how we blanked BYU, but for the game being moved to Tiger Stadium South (Superdome in NO).
So I’m thinking, maybe football is now like basketball and baseball where on “any given day...”.
But my head knows better than my heart.
So the best I can say is, we need some guys to either get healthy, or newbies to get good, like fast; real fast!!!

Because you dont judge a coach off of just 1 game, against a bad opponent, where we only won because the shanked an extra point. We have other games to look at as well, like 11 days ago.
Thats the same mentality that had everyone singing Canada's praises after BYU and Chattanooga. Just because you win, doesnt mean you are good.

BYU is absolutely terrible. Probably actually worse than Syracuse.
Our current list of wins is:
BYU
Their only win against an FCS team by 14 points. They are 1-5 with only one of their losses being by double digits or less.
UT Chattanooga
An FCS team with a record of 1-5 and their only win being against a winless FCS team.
Syracuse
3-3 record. 1 win against an FCS team. 1 win against Pitt (2-4) and 1 win against Central Michigan (3-3). They also lost to Middle Tennessee (3-3)
Florida
3-2 with their wins coming over UT, Vandy, Kentucky (combined record of 11-6 with 8 of those wins being rent-a-wins)
This is by far our best win and its still a shite win.
Our current list of losses is:
Mississippi State
30 point blowout to a 3-2 team. 1 win vs Charleston Soutern. 1 win vs La Tech (3-3 with no P5 wins). and 1 win vs LSU.
Troy
Homecoming night game loss to a 4-2 team. The record of their opponents they have beaten besides LSU is 5-12.They lost convincingly to the other respectable team they played besides LSU (Boise) & lost to South Alabama at home.
Someone convince me to be optimistic.

Well; good thing we didn’t schedule South Alabama for homecoming. At least Troy got an extra week to savor their monumental win (actually, 1/2 a week since game played on a Wednesday.)
When you lose to a team who had to play on a Wednesday just to get on ESPN9, that ain’t so good of a sign either!
