I'm much more stressed about getting the majority of this amazing 2015 recruiting class than I am this season

I guess this was after he came in and LSU won at Bama.

Agreed. I look at the incredible talent we have and understand we have a chance to compete while at the same time understand the youth of your players and that this might at times cause us to drop a couple.

It'll be an exciting season and I'm looking forward to it

All these "weaknesses" will be all but forgotten after the first few games.

No. Our first 4 games are TCU, UAB, Kent State, and Auburn. TCU is ok and Auburn should be better, but those first four games won't tell us much. They will give us a peek, but we won't really know much until we hit the middle of our schedule: UGA, Miss St, UF, Ole Miss. Then we'll know.

Good grief, JJ didn't win the Bama game for us. It was 9-6 in OT, and our defense won it (that, and the Bama kicker missed a bunch of field goals).

Much rather have national journalists and anonymous coaches talk about LSU's "decline" than be ranked preseason #1 like last year. The less noise and outside distraction the better, IMO.

Let A&M and Bama take all that hype and attention into the season; I'd much rather the team focus on getting better each week and see how the season unfolds.

i say this too, but in reality I'm at the point in life that I want to see these kids do well stay out of trouble and for BAMA to lose every game.

ok i am very optimistic cause i believe we will finally have a balanced attack good passing and running game. Now everybody in the stadium won't know what the next play will be based on downs. Defense might not be as good as before but i don't think it will be that bad either. and if they get to rest because we don't go three and out all the better. If Cam and Chief live up to expectations gonna be a good year for tigers. Only negative is UGA, Bama got equally good talent and thus the bounce of the ball and who stays healthy will tell the tale.

TCU will test us more than people think. It is a well-coached team with a stingy defense. They might not have LSU quality talent, but GP gets more out of his guys that most coaches. I expect a battle.

As far as I'm concerned every season is NC or bust. ...Not that I go off the deep end when they don't.

I'm excited because I really think we are going to be much better than people expect and will definitely be in the hunt.

I like going into the season getting overlooked. Like others have said it's sort of like 2011. LSU will be good. We just don't know how good but it will be fun to see a hungry team out there that is (hopefully) improving each week.
