Who's been to Columbia, SC for a game?

for a game? traffic? parking? etc. also, im guessing it'll be a night game with bama/arky, uga/tenn (prob cbs) and fla/mizzou also slated.

I live in South Carolina, but I've only been to USCe for baseball, this will be my first time for football. The stadium is off campus, and fortunately there's no overlap with the SC State Fair, so that will make parking easier at the fairgrounds nearby. The stadium is actually fairly close to I-77, which is part of a big loop around Columbia (with I-20 and I-26), so postgame traffic shouldn't be too bad.

Went several years ago to the LSU game there - parked at Blowfish Stadium a couple of miles away and caught the shuttle to the stadium. Ended up walking back after the game rather than wait on the long lines for the shuttle.

Went to USC undergrad. Good atmosphere there, but nothing like BR. If you don't have tickets go to the Loose Cockaboose to watch the game
