Todd Monken is the head coach at USM. I recommend Pep Hamilton.

HPL: Huey P. Long??

Don't laugh too hard. While Governor, Long housed a few of the players at the then Governor's Mansion. He picked their brains about the game of football, and started diagramming his own plays on a blackboard. Some of those players who went on to coaching actually fessed up to using a few of those plays when they were coaching. Don't have a link. Was noted in one of the earlier books on the history of LSU Football.

This and the reports that he used to send messages to the sidelines during games as to which players to play and what plays to run are why I made the suggestion.

Myself. I put together a mean PS3 game plan. For real though, is there any chance at all any changes are made at the OC position? Like, maybe even 10% or something to give hope going into the offseason

Once a tiger always a tiger. To late anyways, I missed the fact he just got hired at Southern Miss as HC. That blows.

1. Nick Sabin
2. Jim Cheney
3. Kliff Kingsbury
4. Mark Helfrich
5. Cam Cameron
In this order. Since we have no shot at 1 and 3 I would go with Jim Cheney. It's hard to argue with Drew Brees who says Chaney is responsible for the success he had through out his career.

I think Bill Belicheck would make a great OC. He's got nothing left to prove in the NFL.

Anyone who can update our style of offense...spread option and pro style mix

Our playbook is too simple and rolls no one but our own players.

More pro style is no good...conference moving in a different direction.
