Assuming that Reuban stays at X. IMO, Shep doesn't have the body type to be a Z(not tall enough, big bodied) . Chris Tolliver and Shep are two slot receivers so that leaves Wright and Boone(really looking forward to what J.W. Can do). Any word on Armand Williams this spring? He fits Tt80 mold to a T

Armand Williams is struggling a bit compared to Wright and Boone. His route running isn't that crisp, so he seems out of position when the ball comes. That of course, makes him have to reach for the catch, which makes him drop the ball.

All of this could be solved by running crisper routes. I'm sure he'll come along, but I don't think he is in a position to see the field much this year compared to Wright and Boone.

is Shep getting any reps at X or Z, or is he strictly slot?

Shep will play all over on the offense this year. He is plenty big enough to play outside at 6'1 190 and quick enough to play inside too. I think we will see more of the bigger receivers on the inside this year ala the Saints. They put Colston in the slot a lot. Look for Peterson to be in the slot a lot.

The way Les is speaking so highly of Jakhari Gore he will see some good time in the slot too.

Z used to be the tight end. X was split receiver and Y was flanker. When did it change?

You must have played football in the 70's now Y is your tight end/slot receiver, Z is your split, and X is your flanker. From the offense POV, it reads XYZ.(left to right). Some coaches call the left side slot(in a balanced 4 WR set) the H.

Wright has been impressive

Im sure Landry will be a monster when he gets here

Fobbs is a guy not alot of people are talking about but i think he's got some potential

When did he shrink? Just curious, can you prove to me he isn't 6'1?

LSU has been known to list players as taller than their actual height. I've even see players go up and down an inch multiple times.
