The only people who thought this are ones that got all in love with his HS production. I know, I was one of them. But Guice has been the better back by a long shot since they set foot on campus.

Agreed. A lot of people want to find criticism in his game by looking at the Bama games. I don't blame Fournette at all for that. That had everything to do with

1) the Miles/Cameron predictable offense
2) the Bama defensive front 7 absolutely destroying our offensive line.

Even the greatest backs in history couldn't find room to run when there's 2-3 defenders already in the backfield as soon as he gets the ball.
Miles/Cameron were too stubborn to spread out the offense to give Fournette some space.

This. Harold Joiner is the one in this class that we’re hoping for. It’s just really hard to get Alabama kids away from Auburn & Bama. I don’t think we get him, but as of now we’re the favorite.

Unless they go get a grad trans, or JUCO kid it’ll be RBBC

You clearly don't know dick. Nicks ran great. His only issue has been fumbling the ball.

I really feel like Brossette is much better than people realize. Just needs to hold on to the ball. I think he is the best all around back behind Guice.

This. I love fournette, always have. And when people say guice was/is better I cringe. No disrespect.

Go watch against bama last year, fournette did a spin move, hurdle, and stiff arm all in one move to get a few yards against bama stacking the box. One of the more impressive things I’ve ever seen.

I certainly hope that Brosette develops into the back we want him to, but isn't fumbling the ball a pretty big issue for a RB? Hopefully, this is something that he can overcome, but I do cringe when he runs the ball.

That's about the worst issue to have as a ball carrier. I don't care if you average 20 ypc if you're fumbling the ball every other time you touch it.

He's grown since he first came. In the limited time he's played he's had flashes where he looked great. I think he'll surprise you next year.

With Guice hurt, it is entirely possible Devin White is the best back on the team today. He will be next year for sure unless we get a big time surprise recruit.
