Who will Mett be able to count on in 2013. Our receivers were down-right mediocre at times last season and Mett didn't have a consistent WR last year.

My money is on Landry because he was the only guy close to consistent and came to play every week. Other thoughts?

OBJ was suppose to be that guy.

Maybe he can step up in his junior year.

Does he need just one? Bowe-Davis-Doucet worked pretty well

ETA: 2006 Receptions: 56, 65, 59.. Pretty even..

Both these guys are veteran receivers at this stage in their careers, either one can be counted on I think. Plus with Boone in the mix as mentioned in the Cameron revised offense LSU should really be flyin the ball around this season.

Landry had the CFB catch of the year against Arkansas, but remember Boone's diving TD catch against A&M? That was special also. I think Landry is his "go-to" but Boone is very underrated IMO

Boone is the third wheel. Landry and Beckham are the starters.

Suposedly we will have more WR on the field at a time this year. If true, I expect Landry to dominate in the slot against smaller/less physical corners.

I really think Boone was our most consistent receiver last year, that can't be discounted.

This really is the key. We need a deep threat. If not QL, maybe Dural can provide it, but someone needs to take on that RR role.

Once we have that OBJ can be the complimentary #2 guy while Jarvis absolutely dominates the slot. But we need that deep threat to let those two studs play their more natural positions.

Add in a weapon at TE like Stokes or Smith and this offense could be really really good.

Boone had some drops as well. All these guys came on though towards the end of the season. Beckham is just the starter over Boone as for as the depth chart goes, but Boone will see a lot of time as well.

X-Beckham/Boone/Peterson
Y-Landry/Diarse/Fobbs
Z-Leslie/Wright/Dural

that is what i think it will look like.
