please stop Every high profile recruit and running back for that matter is "key'd on"... People need to quit saying that. You don't think. Hilliard was being "key'd on" in the 4th? The kid is going to be fun to watch but let's watch him grow and win us games as a tiger. Quit talking him up, then being disappointed when he isn't that great on kickoff returns, then make excuses that he was key'd on, then blow him because he did XYZ in practice.....

Amen to this.

I'm hopeful LF will be a stud, but he didn't do a thing against Wisconsin that merits much praise. If his name was Joe Smith, we wouldn't even be talking about him.

So stop with the excessive hype, followed by excuses.

Just let the kid play and see what he does over the next few years.

Diarse was a man

Quinn never seemed to know which side to line up on. He'll be better once he gets everything down.

Diarse...redshirt freahman

Quinn...playing high school ball this time last year. Give him time.

Both are going to be really good.

I'm only counting true fresh, and it is Quinn. I'm just excited about him, he almost made 2 spectacular catches and will reel them in over his career.

The comment about Quinn I dont understand. He never acted like he didnt know what side to line up on. He dont need time either if he did he wouldnt be on the field. If people want to try and find things wrong I can find a lot more wrong with other players than Quinn. Damn he sure has some haters and people dont pay attention at all. Prove me wrong! I want to see. Everyone can and will improve but before people point out a mistake or fault have some damn proof. Maybe you thought you saw something you didnt see. I replayed the game over and some of the plays that some fans are complaining about wasnt actually the players fault they are smashing. So for anyone pointing out mistakes or faults review it before you make false statements or without including more details. But who cares right. This is a rant board. The whole team sucks and so does the coaches and fans. So Rant away because it just dont matter right?

On the Quinn 2 pt. conversion, after watching replay, should there have been a flag...Quinn moved toward the line right before he continued into the flat...anyone? Not complaining, just wondering.
IMO Quinn will be very successful at LSU!

Quinn is going to break receiving records at LSU if we open the offense up more (which I'm sure we will as our QBs get experience).

For a freshman, very impressive. His routes looked sharp and his body looks like that of an upperclassman. He has GREAT burst out of his cuts/breaks too. Runs routes like Josh Reed in that sense IMO.

ETA:
Polished route running and burst out of breaks are the two biggest things I've noticed with him. Also attacked the ball with his hands, which is something that freshmen WRs often take time to learn.

lol

He complimented him and simply said he had some confusion lining up sometimes. Not a big deal and definitely not deserving of an incoherent rant.

Most impressed with Quinn, for the simple fact he was a true freshman out there and did not look like it at all. Hard not to be excited about Diarse though, he looked like Hakeem Nicks out there.

Were you at the game? It probably wasn't shown on TV. Multiple times he would leave the huddle and go to one side.. Then have to run over to the other side before everyone was set. He's a freshman. That's going to happen.

Sweet rant.
