Randall.

He could actually throw a pass 10+ yards and hit the broad side of a barn.

As much as I disliked Jefferson, he was a better QB than Randall.

I don't think Randall could ever be as bad as Jefferson was in that 0-21 disaster.

So, I'll say Randall was better.

In that one game, I agree. But that's not the question.

Which feels better on your bare naked feet, broken shards of glass or a spilled bucket of roofing nails?

Randall had his moments, though. Auburn 2002

Are you serious? JJ and it's not close. As much hate as JJ gets ( a good bit is deserved) he didn't suck his entire career.

MR wasn't bad, he wasn't the best QB we've had but he got the job done. He made better decisions, more reliable passer than JJ and I never thought he was the main reason we lost a game..

9 times out 10 a loss with JJ at QB has been because he couldn't pass well enough to keep teams honest.

JJ has a higher
Career qb rating
Career compl %
Career yards per game.

There is no passing statistic that show Marcus Randall as the better qb.

like finishing 2002 2-4, which included one win by way of a hail mary.

you weren't paying attention, then

9 times out of 10 marcus randall couldn't beat out anyone for the starting job

at the end of the day, both were horrible. jefferson's year in 2009 was better than anything randall ever did. jefferson's game aganst alabama in january was the worst game either ever played
