Who wants a coach that can't stand the heat!

I am so tired of hearing about what happened to Les Miles last season will affect getting a coach. The only ones who would not want the job are those that don't want to win championships. The expectations have been put out there. LSU needs to stand behind the expectation to beat Saban (every now & then), win SEC & Nat'l championships. These coaches are millionaires, they should be able to stand the heat. If not, why pay them that kind of money!

Standing the heat is easier said than done. Look around the SEC in the last 11 years, not many could stand the heat, starting with Urban Meyer.

If anything these playoffs have shown that few if any can beat Bama. What LSU needs to do is not let losing to Bama tank and he rest of their season

I think a better, maybe, way of putting it is you/we want a coach who wants to come in and set some goals and take on a challenge. No matter what is going on around him.
Come in and make his mark, enhance his reputation, AND take on some of the best teams in the nation that reside not only in your conference, but your division.
Just like we talk about recruits being "scared of competition", we should expect the same of our coaches.
I'm with you OP.
