J.J. Stats in Cotton Bowl:

CMP ATT YDS CMP% LNG TD INT RAT

10 19 158 52.6 42 3 1 164.1

Thats the greatest game he has ever played.

Lee Stats this season so far:

CMP ATT YDS CMP% LNG TD INT RAT
10 22 98 45.5 29 1 0 97.9
9 10 133 90.0 43 1 0 234.7
21 27 213 77.8 31 1 1 148.9
16 28 180 57.1 52 3 0 146.5

I would argue Lee has played better than JJ's best game in 3 of the 4 games so far this season against arguably better competition.

I do think giving JJ 3-4 series per game will hurt this offense by disrupting the continuity. And if JL struggles, then inserting JJ tells JL and the rest of the team that the coach has no confidence in him.

if we give away 3-4 possessions to bama or florida, even tennessee or arkansas, it would be disastrous. welcome back to 20ppg.

JJ also had a rushing TD v A&M and about 70 yards rushing, you cant just list the passing yards that is only part of JJ's game at least be fair if you are gonna compare stats

Does anybody honestly think that if we are moving the ball and scoring points with JLee at QB that we are seriously going to take him out and put JJ in the game for 3-4 series? I mean, seriously?

miles said he may use JJ similar to Lee last year. Lee didn't okay just 5-6 snaps per game. Lee got multiple series

Since all the JJ supporters seem to only remember the Cotton Bowl, then we should give JJ the same number of snaps that JL got in that game. Remember how many that was? (hint, a number <2)

C YD AVG LG TD

I didn't see them on there.

Do we really need a running QB? Honest question. I feel like half the problem with Crowton is that we tried to do much. This would fit into that category.

i do, yes, because Miles has a blind spot for jordan. I love Miles, always have, wouldnt trade him for anyone, but Lee should have been starting for about 12 games now, the QB play was abysmal last year, but the switch was never made.

playing jordan this year makes no sense, but it didnt make sense last year either, and yet there he was.

truly amazing, our starting QB, who played really well in the Cotton bowl just returned to the team and everyone is acting like this is bad news

Yeah he was the starting QB until we needed game winning comeback drives on the road in Tennesse and Florida

He also had 1 against Ms. State, 2 against UF, 1 against UT, 1 against Ole Miss, 1 against Auburn.

But yeah lee won all those games for us.

You cannot say this with a straight face, as if qb play was the difference in these wins last year...

No JJ earned it with his play at the end of the year where we were putting up 40 points a game.

Wow.

Not one word about rushing:

Jefferson's Rushing Stats in the Cotton Bowl
12 carries for 67 yards (5.6 ypc) and 1 TD

Lee has -22 yards rushing this year.

Oh, and the only game where Lee got a higher rating was when LSU played a JV team.

Lee was the two-minute drill QB.

In both game ending drives against Tennessee and Florida, Lee got the benefit of going for it on fourth down. Jefferson did not get that benefit.

jefferson had 2 tds in the uf game, Lee had 2tds. I still we dont win with out either. Lee prob doesn even run the 2 minute drill if UF doesnt run a kr back for a td.
