Full retard?

First off dont lump me in with "the rant" when I post on the RB regularly and fully understand everyone we have coming in. I've seen tape on everyone and much of it.

Second off, Jalen Mills came in and started every game on the outside as a true freshman. If you forgot that already. White is the most talented DB we'll have had since Claiborne. CB is easy to step up and play early at. "Hey cover this guy we put you on". Toughest part will be learning zone schemes, I could see a few mishaps there...but if Mills can do it and do it pretty well a guy with White's ability can do it and even better than Mills can. Unless you think White's ability isn't up par.

On D, we need to be strong in the middle. AJ and Ego on the line, Barrow at MLB, and Loston needs to be the 5 star safety we've been waiting for.

Ego

Is the main guy I'm worried about in the middle. The Freak, Barrow (granted on the outside) and Loston have all shown good ability thus far. Ego just hasn't really stepped up yet and in a questionable DT rotation next year we really need him to be a stalwart next to the freak...because I'm not 100% on how well we'll be at DT behind those 2. I think Thomas makes a name for himself this year but Johnson I just dont know...

He was decent this season. A lot of the plays he got "burned" on he was in position he just never turned and located the ball. Easily correctable IMO.

Ronald Martin running the show back there and making calls, etc. He was so good in spot work in coverage, reminds me a lot of Brandon Taylor, just solid all around. He just might be better equipped physically.

That would be a tall order...

That's what a safety should look like. Down right badass. BT was extremely underrated, especially his SR year. Baller!

Sandolf and Thompson physically look the part.

I think White is the 2011 Simon. comes in to play outside when Mills bumps down inside in nickel and mustang.

This! Tre White starting in front of Collins is not a ridiculous prediction, but I think it's extremely unlikely. Collins is very good and very experienced. He also has the size that Tre White lacks. We will have a great secondary next year with Collins and Mills at the corners and Loston and Martin at safety. It'll be interesting to see who plays nickel. Maybe White can beat out the second year guys.

The odds of White being as good as Mills are not high. I realize one is five and the other was three stars, but Mills was underrated. He has talent and heart. He makes a very difficult position look easy. I hope White really is that good. Don't forget, though, RS had five stars, also.

Y'all think mills is gonna play nickel? He's our #1 cover guy and last years nickel will back, Eugene.

I don't see him moving inside to play nickel. He'll stay on the perimeter and cover a wideout.

I think Martin ends being the best player we have in the secondary next year. I think he has played well when given the opportunity and its just his time. Really looking forward to it.

Go watch tape on White and get back to me. This guy blankets everyone, did it all week and during his all-star game to become a 5-star on sites. He has more ability than anyone on the roster right now.

Size for a true freshman DB? I'm pretty sure that TM14 wasn't very big as a freshman, and we see how that went.

Yeah, White is the real deal. I'm not saying he don't need to add weight, cause he does, but he's the best corner we have, and its not really close. His weakness is run support, and I didn't think he'd get his 5th star because of it, but he's the best cover corner coming out this year. When he gets strong enough, and physical enough to fight off blocks, and make tackles on the edge, he will be something to see....beast!

You must not know much about him. Dude is an animal. I expect him to be CB 1 then mills with Collins in the Nickel.

Since when do you have to weigh alot to play corner??

If anything, white needs to replace Eugene at nickel. Eugene couldn't cover anyone this year
