Pretty good behind-the-scenes illustration of how athletic improvements are managed at LSU.

So who owns Tiger Stadium? The answer depends on the section in which you’re sitting.
If you’re watching a football game in a lower bowl seat, it’s owned by LSU. If you’re in a suite or an upper deck, it’s the Tiger Athletic Foundation.
In other words, LSU and TAF share Death Valley. And they pay each other to use it.

In a day where every budget gets missed, TAF sure managed to come in under budget on some major expansion projects.

My guess is that it's HCB
DIDNT SEE THE POST, though.
Anyway, interesting to see the layout of how all the money works. Never knew this but never really thought about it, either.

At least we got rid of 3rd and chavis. we actually might be able to beat them. I hope. Can't take another last minute loss to them

So I got to start sending 2 weekly emails calling for beer sales.

I made this to make up for that comment. Use it wisely!

OP - where on LSUSports did you find that picture of Tiger Stadium? I'd love to find a high-res version & have it framed.

What's even more impressive to me about that was coming in under budget despite how much the SEZ addition was changed during construction. Remember, this was the concept going in...
...as the SEZ was designed to be built in stages. Due to more than expected demand for suites and club seating, both LSU and TAF agreed to fill in the extra suites and club seating. So the SEZ addition was built with 66 suites by adding three suites to the empty space at each end of each row. And additional space for 3,500 club seats was added by filling in under the video boards.
The original plan was to have five rows of general seating up top. A sixth row was added. The extra row of general seating added up top was put in to help increase total capacity above 100,000...
...so the SEZ addition ended up with 2,000 general seats, instead of 1,500.
Remember, the entrance tower was originally purposed with a curved facade...
...but was changed to a flat surface, as a cost-cutting measure...
All of which makes this even more impressive...

South End Zone Expansion
(completed in 2014)
$25,000: TAF’s annual rent to LSU to lease the land on which the south end zone facility sits.
$4 million: LSU’s annual rent to TAF to use the facility.
$100 million: the maximum debt TAF budgeted to finance the project. The actual cost came in around $89.3 million.

I honestly don't remember. I think it was at the top of an article on LSUSports.net, but I can't seem to find it.
Sorry!
