That's interesting. I could see that.

A left side of Collins and Alexander would be great to run behind.

Didn't think that would be a hole.

Why do you think it will be an a-hole?

Collins is a first round pick at guard, I don't know about moving him to tackle.

Hawkins is suppose to be the future at left tackle, time to get that going imo

He is only playing G because of Faulk. Collins was an OT all the way, but only played G because they wanted him on the left side of the line.

I think Alexander stays at tackle and they have him lose some weight.

Ok but he has excelled at guard, it's no sure thing he will do the same at tackle

I agree that he has been great at guard, I just think that this lineup would put the best 5 on the field.

It will be very interesting to see what the staff does. I'm glad they signed the JUCO lineman because we are going to need him somewhere along the line.

here are what i think the 3 best options. Granted i know nothing about how players have or will progress, just their upside before getting here.

If you dont value Collins as your best gaurd, slide him over and Williford plays guard.

If Collins is your best guard, keep him there. But dont put Williford at LT. Put the rsfr Hawkins. Lets not forget we had whitworth, Black start 4 years at the LT spot.

If hawkins isnt ready, Then Getting Fohoko in means even more now. Juco guy that could get a shot at T.

Im just hoping they get Hawkins ready and we wont have to worry about it for a couple of years.

I think it is time to move Collins to Tackle now. We had Hurst, then Alexander and Josh D. Unless Alexander loses some weight and gets better, he isn't ready to pass block. I think you move Collins to T and then leave Turner and Alexander where they are and insert Wiliford as the other G. Porter will be the center.

I think Faulk is dumb by doing this, if he is going to be a first rounder, but maybe he has family he has to take care of and can't wait a year.

What about Edinburgh(sp)? Has he progressed far enough to earn a spot?

Ponamsky said he was injured and missed quite a few practices leading up to the bowl game. Everyone also noticed he had put on some weight. So the guy has plenty of time to get to a good weight and stay at rt.

IDK, id say he prob was backing up vadal at rt.

Hawkins was going to be behind dport and faulk on the left.

The only good thing about this, this shuffle wont have to happen before we play UF. They have all spring and summer to get they guys where they want.

LSU has recruited some talented big bodies on the line. Going to be interesting to see these battles in the spring.
