3. 09/15 - Miss St plays Auburn the week before. Big advantage for LSU to have tuneup game while AU has full concentration of State

So basically since auburn has the suck again, it should be noted that state will be missing their entire starting defensive line.

Is anyone else not as concerned with Bama's offense as maybe they were before the season started? Their D is more than capable enough to make up for their lack of qb play, much like us, but maybe if Lee can take care of the ball and AJM/PS start tossing int's it can be the difference in the season

Ah, it probably would have been funny if it didn't have to be explained to me.

Didn't knee injuries end Chaz Ramsey's career?

I remember it was true while he was at LSU. Scored 3 points against Arkansas in 2000, lost to a good Tennessee team in 2001, the bluegrass miracle in 2002, the Florida loss in 2003, tied with Troy in the 4th quarter in 2004. I believe he has done a better job while at Bama, this will actually be the 4th time in his five years at Bama that their bye week was prior to playing LSU.

I believe he's 2-2, both loses against LSU. Saban is good at planning for games, but he has trouble motivating his players during the 2 week stretch. Miles is definitely better at getting his players mentally focused for games that have extended breaks before.

I will guess there is a reason Saban's Bama record after bye weeks sucks (1-2).

Did they have had those bye weeks before what they believed priorly to be their most difficult game?
