Offensive line can't get their act together?

Do you think we will be forced to go with a true dual threat QB if teams continue to kill us with the blitz?

Danny is the starting qb. I don't see that changing

Here's what we didn't do against bama last year: come up with quicker routes so our QB didn't have to sit in the pocket for 5 seconds. That's death with a rush worth a damn and poor blocking. If we are having problems with the offensive line, you adjust your passing playcalling or put in a more mobile QB. We don't have that latter option with Narcisse apparently redshirting, so you make the former adjustment.

Etling.

Brennan would play a good bit though depending on game situation.

I think that is exactly what's going to happen.

If we're going zone read, Narcisse is the only option. He's got the size to handle that beating.

And I don't want to burn his redshirt.

Etling is still by far the better qb. You don't throw away the season to give a young qb practice. However, I wish Brennan would get every 3rd or 4th possession.

If McMillan was good he would have played by now this his last season here. Brennan is better

Brennan in a wide open offense, and I will say this until it happens. I really don't think redshirting Narcisse was good either as he could have provided a running package to the QB spot as well.

I dont think Narcisse fully trusts his legs yet to hold up, and I cant blame him. Giving him a year to get comfortable with heavyt contact again is a good thing IMO

The line sucks. We don't have a dual threat QB. Etling wins.

Sorry bud, but I have read nothing that could give any semblance of truth or reasoning to this thought. Don't know if you are just projecting how you would deal with it or what, but most athletes don't think like this. Deshaun Watson played with a torn ligament in his leg as a true freshman. Got surgery came back and put up ridiculous numbers the next year including 1100 rushing yards and 12 TDs.

RG3 was injured his leg his sophomore year, came back the next year and ran 150 times.

Taysom Hill injured himself, came back the next year and still ran like he didn't care.

These are just QBs, there are many examples of RBs and WRs.

LSU used to give the backup QB a series each half, many years ago.

Mickey Guidry relieving Hodson, seemed to work pretty well for both players and there were others. I always liked that and would not mind seeing this each game with Etling and Brennan.

Bamas D line is scary enough. Now imagine a true freshmen QB behind our O line facing that defense. Terrifying to say the least.

Danny Etling.

Why is this even in discussion? DE isnt the issue and he's been efficient. He doesnt trust his pathetic OL and he still stands in there and makes long throws. We might not win last saturday without him.

He is the least of my offensive worries. Give him a stout OL and he looks awesome.

He has been great when he has time, and not so great when rushed. If we can't give him time, looking for a better option.
