#37 - The Great Tommy Casanova. For his era, he was simply the best player in the nation in 1970-1971. In '71 injuries forced him out of the Ole Miss game (24-22) loss w/LSU on the 3-yard line
when time ran out. he was ready 2-weeks later when Notre Dame came to town and Casanova owned
ND all-America Tom Gatewood. Today PP7 is the same, but did not play both ways. Casanova was All-SEC from 1969-1971, All-America in 1970 and 1971. played both ways in '69-70, returned punts and kickoffs including 2 punt returns against Archie and the Rebs in a 61-17 Tiger win.
