I enjoyed it, you're probably just one of those guys who hates every TV analyst.

Walton is Walton. At first I was thinking, man can you knock it off,but he grows on you. Very intelligent man,not just a hoops guy. He went a little overboard on Bill Russell and Maravich IMO,but they are indeed the first two people one thinks of when it comes to San Francisco and LSU basketball.

The one "oh,my goodness" moment was when he was indeed yakking too much and injected how RFK spoke at that gym in April of 1968 running for President and how he was shot two months later in Los Angeles.Immediately he said "Ouch".

How about when he said something along the lines of If LSU loses this game it will be one of the greatest comebacks in all of sports history.

And no I never complain about commentators, just last night irked me. It sounded like the other commentator towards the end of the game was just egging Bill on to hear him ramble.

Maybe try not to take yourself/the game so seriously. Do you really listen in during LSU games hoping to glean wisdom from the color analyst about our team? I'd rather have someone who has fun and talks about life and how it relates to basketball than some miserable old frick like Bobby Knight that hates everyone and everything. It's all just background noise anyway.
