Ive defended Les through thick and thin. Living amongst gumps and aubies that aint an easy task. I love LSU with every ounce of my heart and im ready for a new coach. Im not an entitled or spoiled fan, just ready for a change for the better

You people that want Herman are idiots. The dude is already under investigation by NCAA and almost every high school coach in Tx hates him......

Is Skip Holtz deemed untouchable since he's at another LA school? He seems to have Tech rolling every year, and they're always fundamentally sound with lesser talent. Just a thought from an outsider.

Skip Holtz was god awful at South Florida and had two 9 win seasons at Tech. 
He is not going to coach LSU. He's never had a 10 win season in Division 1A football in his career.

Not trying to troll, I just don't know much about him other than how his Tech team plays with the talent he can get there, and his dad was a legendary coach. There's obviously some talent there, although I know he wouldn't be a first choice. Was just throwing a name out there...

Patterson has stated he is never leaving TCU. They will match whatever anyone offers. He is not happening.

UTSA was 3-9 last year - if Wilson can turn around that team such that they can get to a bowl this year, I think that would be clear evidence as to his competency as a head coach.
Combine that with the fact that he's an outstanding recruiter and knows Louisiana and the SEC, and I think he would be a solid hire.
