He was not a true freshman fyi. He started his career at LSU-e.

Yes, and he had a 5 ERA at LSU-E I think. Not saying he can't improve, but our pitching talent was low that year.

He was a sophomore in 2010. You're forgetting his freshmen year @ LSU-E where he posted a stellar 4.90 ERA. Bottom line, he's simply not an SEC caliber pitcher. I hope he prooves me wrong this year, but the only reason he got the scholly offer in 2010 was one of our signees going pro (think it was the ZVR/Colvin year).

Ahh my mistake.

I forgot he came from LSU-E... Well I'll still hold out hope that he can help us out of the pen if needed. Some people come back stronger from TJ surgery.

ya i dont get the joey b love by PM. He had a era of 5 at LSUE. I know he has a nice arm, but he catches too much of the plate and doesn't fool hitters at all
