I think Fournette will get his carries but our passing game will be solid by the time this game rolls around and we will air it out and exploit their weakness defensively. LSU will have 2 weeks to prepare and I'm pretty sure we'll be working on the passing game extensively. Time will tell...... It will be another epic battle in 2015 and I think the Tigers are up for the challenge....

This is a good thread with quite a bit of thought going into the answers rather than the typical stupid, shite I see from most posters. First, I am worried about Florida, and I am glad we play in Tiger Stadium. I'm not sure if Florida is as good as they looked on Saturday, or if Ole Miss was playing as if we beat Bama, so Florida shouldn't be a problem. Who knows. In any regard, all of the reviews on the pecking order the west will end up by end of the season are all very reasonable predictions. Auburn is the biggest unknown to me at the moment. We all know Ark will beat someone they aren't suppose to beat, which is usually LSU. TA&M looks good and this could be there year to,turn the corner and win more than one big game. It's just an unbelievable half of a conference. I'm looking forward to it. I think I'd be most pissed if we lose to S, Carolima. That would be completely unacceptable.

smart money is always on bama.

that said, it's going to be fun to watch things play out.

earlier poster had les pegged pretty well as far as game plan, although every now and again this staff will surprise you and run an awesome game plan. at least for one half.

But Les is still here running the same offense that Bama was built to stop.

aTm has a much better chance to beat Bama than we do.

At least they will try something creative. Les will just win LF over and over into a brick wall hoping beyond all reason that this year the end result may be different.

And for the record, I fully expect Bama to do to aTm what they did to Georgia.

LSU or Bama. The West will come down to that game.

Better start praying for another Bama loss somewhere.

These teams still control their own destiny:

LSU
Ole Miss (only loss is a SEC East loss, win out they win the west)
T&M

However, i think Bama is currently the favorite, as i dont see Ole Miss winning out.Should Bama get another loss, then its wide open

Their fluke loss against Ole Miss will motivate them through the rest of the season

I disagree. I believe Georgia is more of a fluke than Ole miss.
I think that the dawg's lines are weak, Chubb is good but not great, no passing game. I believe that the LSU/Bama game will be a typical close game and cango either way. The next three weeks will tell the tale of LSU for this season.
LSU is very young. Next year excites me.

Nobody is factoring in the 5 TO margin that OM had over Bama and no one is considering the 4 TO margin UF had over OM.

What I'm saying is OM is still dangerous. Bama is very dangerous.

LSU has three games to find a passing game. I think it is imperative that the WRs need to step up. Harris and the OL on pass blocking need to improve as well. I don't care if LSU runs 60-40 at the end of this season, but some of the 40 needs to be effective.

Bama looks to be the favorite. We are more one dimensional than we have been and Bama will stop the running game. Getting 6 yards before contact won't happen against their D. And our passing game won't improve enough.

Besides our defense looks like it's getting worse, not better, each game.

If I had to put money on it, I would probably say Bama as of now is most likely to win the west. We will know much more in just a few weeks.

I'd put my money on Bama, followed by A&M.

I just don't think we can make it through November with only one conference loss (or less) being so one-dimensional on offense. If Bama makes it past A&M in 2 weeks, I don't think they'll lose again during the regular season.

And the last two losses in TS to them... Lsu dominated the game, but lost to sub 2-minute drives at the end of the game.

Well it wasn't enough offense to win. We can blame the defenses at the very end but the truth is, LSU will rarely win if it can only score 17 and 13 points. It's been since 2010 since LSU scored 20+ on Bama.

As of today....I say Bama......ask me in 2 weeks....the dynamics of the college game today changes very rapidly...it's all about the mo.....LSU has time to gain momentum with consistent play....have not seen it yet.
