It was an outstanding year for individual and team championships! Here are just a few that I thought of:

Dylan Crews - Baseball
Paul Skenes - Baseball
Angel Reese - Women’s Basketball
Ingrid Lindblad - women’s golf
Maggie MacNeil - swimming
Haleigh Bryant - gymnastics
Michaela Rose - Track & Field

That would be:
quote:

Dylan Crewes - Baseball

ETA At least spell his name correctly - Crews

Skenes. He was the reason LSU was able to make it to Omaha and be in a position to win the national championship

List is awesome, but I’m going with Jayden Daniels. He took over during that Bama game. He masked a very young O-line to lead LSU in winning the West. Impressive.

I would go with skenes or crews, but Maggie MacNeil had a special year in the pool.

Crews

His parents raised a great young man and a hell of a ball player

In June. Skenes carried the team on his back in April and May when the rest of the staff couldn't get an out and got them to June. LSU went 19-10 in the SEC with Skenes. Without him they’re a 2 seed in somebody’s regional.

Skenes had no peers. Everyone else did.

Angel Reese had a phenomenal year and led her team to a natty. She set a SEC record along that journey so she definitely makes a strong argument and there’s a reason she won the ESPY for best break out athlete of year

LSUs offense is what carried them this season it was not Paul Skenes. Yes the guy was almost a guaranteed win when he pitched but he only played in 1 out of every 4 games so to say he carried the team is an inaccurate statement
