I can't believe that I didn't give the HB much thought there.

I have to give the Honey Badger my 1st spot simply due to his great change of direction and acceleration. Tyrann also had that fearless mentality that made me worried at first until I saw that he is just built that way. He was fielding punts that everyone else in history would have fair caught and those returns would almost always end up pretty big and worth the risk. Trindon still gets second as an all around kick returner once the the catch was made.

Ignoring the 25-year rule...

Sammy "the fastest white man in college football" Martin

Go to 2:15 mark of this link. #23 lined up in slot...
LINK

Walter "Slip" Watkins

Go to 1:15 mark of this link. #2 kick return
LINK

Just think how much faster they would have been without those huge shoulder pads.

Billy cannon...I've only seen one of his returns, but it was badass. I only assume every other return was just as cool, just no espn to tell us. Haha

If I had to pick on3, it would be PP7.

However, too much is being made of OBJ's fumble vs UGA. Trindon ran a punt back vs Arky in '09 and them fumbled the next one. Also, PP7 fumbled one against UF in '10 - don't recall who recovered it.
