I would love to see Josh Boutte blossom at guard his senior year.

That kid is as big as a mountain and could really be a road grader if he can put it all together.

Who's behind Jefferson? Never had much faith in him. Hope he has been looking better.

Well he didn't get beat no more or less than any other player so I don't know what games you were watching. It's a reason he starts on the best secondary in the country.

looks right to me. i'm not sure about Divinity being a starter but I can't say who else. he's the only freshman to crack the starting lineup (so far)

He's got a nasty streak, too. I like him.

Im not knocking the kid that bad. He's a good solid run stopping safety. No doubt. But he got beat alot in coverage. Id like to chalk it up to limited experience, hence the I hope he's been playing better. I haven't been able to see any scrimmages.

I think Kevin Steele's Defense made a lot of players look a lot worse than they really were last season bc of playing out of position and miscommunication. Many players have said Steele's Defense was complex and confusing. I expect Ricky Jefferson to be greatly improved this season thanks to Dave Aranda.

I'm want to see how this oline plays together. That's a lot of beef up front. I think that unit is the key to our season.

JD Moore

Would really like to have seen Tyron Johnson in the mix at WR3. Oh well, I'm sure Chark will serve as a big play threat with Dural and Dupre acting as reliable and dangerous flankers.

Dline=nastyyyy
I wasn't exactly LaCouture's biggest fan (hope he recovers well and quickly too), but we've got so much talent that could play NT with much lower centers of gravity, I think LaCouture's stature might have held the middle of our defense back last year (along with Kevin Steele, but that's another story).

Such an interesting mix at LB. Pumped for this new scheme. I hope Divinity freaking flies all over the field like Debo. Devin White will see a lot of rotation time against more physical teams I'm sure.

CBs plus Jamal Adams is siiiiick. Worried about Jefferson's consistency, but I'm sure he will hold his own as a senior. I hope Battle gets some playing time back there.

He started the scrimmage Saturday but we can probably expect to see a rotation at all LB spots minus Beckwith.
