I wanted to cry at 4:45. "Watch out for this Perrilloux next year..."

What could have been, man. shite.

Also, check around 3:30 for Demetrius Byrd being Odell Beckham back when Beckham was just starting high school.

EDIT: On his TD pass to Byrd early in the 3rd, Perrilloux was 16/20 for 238 yds and a TD. Man, frick this shite. Mettenberger at Georgia was the only guy I can remember putting up a comparable game since JaMarcus was here.

Man, watching this video brought up so many, I dunno, just sighs, and what ifs, and what was.....

1. How good could RP have been?
2. I saw several, well executed offensive plays that this past year's team seems light from being able to execute.
3. 2013's receivers were about as good as it gets, and our current crop has unlimited potential, so while I'm not saying he was better, Early Doucet was a beast.
4. We've have GREAT db's since this too, but I love that swag attitude that Zenon had - baiting dudes into pic sixes and such.

I'm pretty sure that's Crowten's offense.

Crowton was coordinator, but if I remember correctly he kept/incorporated a lot of Jimbo's stuff. You know, since he had a senior quarterback that knew that system. I know he (Crowton) put in some pistol formation stuff that was his.

And a lot of people on these boards were not happy with that offense or Jimbo and wanted him gone, and didn't want to see him as a head coach at LSU

Hell FSU fans wanted him gone prior to 2013.

I chunk it all up to fans overreacting and being too damn impatient.

That's really all I'm asking out of the play calling. Since we have mobile QBs, add some plays and formations, to that 2013 offense that accentuate that mobility.

thanks for the reminder...honestly I think Hester's was better.

Also it made me imagine this years team with Perriloux as QB. Oh well.

Edit: I'm being serious here...had RP not been a shithead how much of the QB curse that we've been dealing with doesn't happen?

Hesters against Florida for the motherfack'n win. Blee dat!

Eta: Ok Fournette's was more satisfying but screw Florida.
are you kidding? Hester's was way more satisfying against a hated rival in a top ten match up for a win that eventu led to an NC. The aTm game was practically meaningless.

FIFY - Doesn't sound like TQ

In biggest game of season vs bama TQ dipped his hands in butter. In biggest game of season vs Florida hester could not be tackled. Let's see TQ fix the dropsies in big game then start comparing him to Hester.

Fournette's was more impressive. He ran over the leading tackler on Texas A&M's team (Howard Matthews, SR), who was completely squared up and ready to make a tackle.

Hester trucked a freshman, Brett Vinson, who had taken a poor angle to the play in the first place. Vinson wasn't all that good. He transferred to North Alabama before being charged in connection with a Knoxville murder in 2010. We never heard from him again.

Thanks for the post! That was a helluva pop by Hester. What struck me about Fournette's was that it was so intentional and almost gratuitous. He could have easily evaded the defender, but seemed to want to run over him instead, whereas Jacob was running through a gang of tacklers and that poor Tennessee boy had the misfortune of getting in the way.
