We have no reason to hate USC - other than the fact that we got robbed against them in Tiger Stadium back in late 70's. Alabama has become our fiercest rival without question. I don't even like to see Alabama win a football game much less against the Tigers. USC has great tradition and they are the best on the west coast along with Oregon. They deserve their recognition. Maybe if we played them every few years it would be different. Geaux Tigers - Roll the Tide!

This is freaking ridiculous.
LSU has played the University of Southern California twice. TWICE. The series is 1-1. Why do we hate them? Because the AP "split" the Title in 2003? You do realize that it is only a BCS Title? Who gives a shite about the Associated Press?!?!? What about the team that shut us out 8 months ago?!!?!?! Alabama is the only team that stands in our way, at this point, from making it to the SEC Championship Game. You people need to get real about this.

USC.....27 votes
there were 5-6 ties, OM, ark, fla and au all got a vote or two.
FWIW none of the 27 dumbasses that said USC made up a good reason why they chose usc.

The media has been diefing Saban since he took the Bama job. Sure he's the best coach in CFB and deserves accolates for what he's done, but its going to absurd levels. If Bama played USC in the BCS CG, any LSU fan that roots for Bama because its the SEC is basically rooting against the better interests of LSU.

Agreed. If the roles were reversed in 2003 you can bet your arse that there would be thousands of people in Louisiana walking around with "2003 National Champions" shirts, or bumper sticker, or extremely overpriced paper weights, or any other assorted do-dad. Also, I bet no one would bitch about LSU having a 2003 National Champions flag flying in Tiger Stadium (even if it was "just" the "irrevelvant" AP title) The "hate" for USC is illogical. Bama on the other hand.....

Go open a record book and look at history.
Hell, just look at last decade.
USC was practically undefeated against their OOC Top 25 opponents.
Last decade BCS Bowls 7 - wins 6.
Last decade USC's winning % under Pete Carroll against AP Top 10 opponents was: 82% (14 wins of 17 games)

Bama because they are our conf. rival and currently the most talented team in our division, other than us of course.
USC because the media keeps them in the top 5 yearly without their schedule or talent warranting it.
I would say I hate USC more because I have no respect for the program and to hear ESPN talk about them constantly on Gameday like they are the second coming of Christ while they prepare to struggle to beat Syracuse. FUSC
