If we played USC on a regular basis, I might work up some hate for them but they're not in the Hierarchy of Hate at the moment.

How can you be an LSU fan and not hate Alabama more? I mean I hate USC but when I see them getting all this praise I just laugh and think that's cute cause if they played in a real football league they'd be about a middle of the way team.

At least SC earned their title in 2003. Bama's title makes me physically ill as it's completely contrary to the concept of a meritocracy in football. They really do have different rules than anyone else. It's not just infuriating, it's anti-competitive and a threat to the sport itself.

Why any LSU fan would hate USC is beyond me.
Alabama has always and will always be my least favorite team. I would not root for them in a game of RPS agains anyone.

BTW the obvious answer is Bama for those who HATE.I don't hate Bama, I want to beat them everytime but you have to respect what they have done under Saban.

Bama- Most arrogant fans in football, the worst ones didn't even go to school there.
Auburn- Not much better but I dislike them less now that Tuberville is gone.
Oklahoma- Because every OU fan I've met hates not only LSU but the SEC.

If you've ever tried to enjoy a vacation to Gulf Shores or Destin with your kids, you'd understand why Bama fans should all be jailed for felony prickness. Had one this summer tell my 11 year old on the beach "F-you and your parents". The guy was at least 50 years old. That was nice for the kid to hear.

Only thing I change in an othewise great post, is why hate the AP? Its just an opinion poll. Don't gripe about "eyeball" tests in 2003 if someone doesn't like it, then say they got it ringt in 2011.

I can only speak for myself, but when i say "I hate Alabama" its sports hate, not literal. Sports are more fun to have good guys and bad guys. Of course I respect Saban and what he's done there, no one hates Vandy

Had a Bama fan tell my wife and I something similar in Vegas, just because I was wearing an LSU cap. I hadn't said anything to the guy or even made eye contact with him, he also was about 50 yrs old. He immediately wanted to argue why he thought Bama was better and why LSU had been lucky... this was in 2007 when LSU had beaten them 5 years straight... special breed of people.
