No love for Avery Peterson??
I was going to say not to forget about him. Injury is healed, he had very good practices and good spring game (including one spectacular catch). It was noted he was the best route runner.

Dural to start the year. I can definitely see Quinn and Dupre also making big plays as the year goes on. They'll have some growing pains at first, though.

How long will it take for Miles to let the QB throw the ball downfield?

We got ZERO separation during the spring game. Every pass we caught (less than 50%) was highly contested.

Good coverage, perhaps?

Because we never did that last season, right?

If Anthony Jennings is the starting QB, then none.

Dural has been the guy we were waiting for since he was supposed to play his true freshman year. He was the most consistent WR in the Spring and was the most targeted WR in the spring game.

Leslie will be our deep threat playmaker as he has the speed, and height to cause damage downfield.

Dupre will be our #2 starter. He already has everything he needs, and shouldn't be far behind Dural.

Quinn and Diarse will both play in the slot.

Both 1st and 2nd team CBs were very good/experienced against young WRs, that was expected. Dural made some awesome catches and showed flashes of brilliance. He'll been the go-to guy until the others establish themselves.

Diarse seemed solid, but not great. Leslie got shut down by Paris all game, and obviously we haven't seen anyone else really.

If we look at receiver in a broader sense, look for our TEs to finally make in impact this year.

I have to agree with this.

Leslie.

Poor man's D Byrd. I will go with T Dural, has the talent and most time in the system.

IDK. How long did it take Saban to let AJ throw down the field? I seem to remember it was ten games into his first year as a starter before he threw downfield more than three or four times in a game.

Good coaches give inexperienced QBs a limited playbook and limit their chances to hurt their team. Even experienced QBs can cost us a game if Miles lets them air it out too much. See the Ole Miss game this past year.

The answer to the OP is obviously Dural by a mile. Other than him, I'm hoping for Dupre.

Its Dural and everyone else. Dural is a beast. His route running is remarkably fluid; better than some already in the NFL. He's a special player and has as much upside as any LSU receiver that I can remember.

Hoping Diarse wins the other spot, but what a battle that will be.

I hope Leslie has put on some weight. With an option QB the WR has to block.

I think Diarse is going to be a solid safe option coming out of the slot. He's bulked up and I dont think he will be cautious coming through the middle on slants.
