After this season, which LSU Pitchers do we risk losing to the MLB draft?

Lange, Newman, Reynolds, Poche, any other seniors I imagine. Don't know of any big time Juniors. I think Kiel is a Junior he may go if he does as good as he was in JUCO

Between the team and recruiting class, here are the draft eligible guys with eligibility remaining:
Doug Norman - possible draft risk
Austin Bain - possible draft risk
Alex Lange - likely first round
Alden Cartwright (RS)
Hunter Kiel - draft risk
Nick Storz - top 100 pick possibly
Blayne Enlow - possible 1st/likely 2nd round
Trent Vietmeier - possible draft risk
Devin Fontenot
Stephen Keller - draft risk
Matt Schroer
John Kodros
Ma'Khail Hilliard
Brandon McCabe - draft risk
Nate Pearson - top 100 pick
Cameron Sanders - draft risk

Here are the Seniors:
Hunter Newman
Russell Reynolds
Collin Strall
Jared Poche

No.

Guys like McCabe and Keller are rated similarly to Peterson and Hess were last year. And they ended up here.

I don't see Storz or Enlow making it to campus, but it's possible. Pearson is a JUCO kid that hits triple digits with his fastball. He had about 100 scouts at his game yesterday, but he was a bit wild.

Norman and Bain, I could see going no matter where they are drafted.
Lange is gone.
Kiel, with the velocity he is showing is likely gone, control is his problem.
Storz is gone
Enlow blew up over summer, likely gone.

He asked about LSU pitchers, not recruits. Half of those kids will never enroll , will never be a LSU pitcher.

The high school guys will be evaluated up till the draft and Enlow will have to carry over from his great summer.
Storz may not even pitch at the next level, it's his power from the plate that scouts are in love with.

Norman and Bain will probably be in similar roles as last year although word is Norman had a really good fall. If they don't see mound time at LSU and are passed by freshman like Hess, Peterson and Walker than I could see them just wanting to start pro ball. Bain was actually draft eligible last year due to age but did not have a good year on the mound.

They are also in love with his mid-90s fastball and advanced curveball. Even though he won that HR Derby for prospects, everything I'm seeing from an MLB scouting standpoint is about him on the mound. I would hope he'd do both if he came here though.

But hey we have to stop talking about recruits in this thread because bayouman is going to get mad.

ETA: I was kind of thinking the same thing as you on Bain and Norman. I almost compared them to Parker Bugg in my first post in this thread. I could see them making the same decision he did.
