Gorilla ball was a bit ridiculous and I'm glad it was changed (though it is fun to look back on). Those guys were hitting dingers on great pitches because the bats were overpowered.

Now they might as well give the boys 2x4s to bat with because the BBCOR's are terrible. When you have pitchers throwing cock high fastballs because they know 99% of the time they will end up being long fly outs isn't how baseball is suppossed to be played.

The -3's were perfectly balanced. Top pitchers could still dominate a game and mediocre pitchers were punished for mistakes. You still had to be a good hitter to hit for average and had to have a decent amount of pop to hit double digit HRs.
