I will be in northern Italy during both of the first two football games. Should I just assume WatchESPN is my only option, if I can find WiFi? First time overseas, so I’m clueless about the broadcast situation there.
TIA

Or enjoy North Italy and don't worry about 19 year olds playing a game.

Just a thought.

Hey Fun Bunch. You’re an idiot. Nothing trumps LSU football. Get off this site if you feel that way.

Watch ESPN doesn't work overseas or outside the US unless you have a damn good VPN.

The good old "Where to watch in Europe" thread is my personal favorite in terms of marking the end of another long off-season.

Are there any other options besides that? If not, I’ll just have to go the Fun Bunch route.

On an Android device, download Mobdro. You're welcome.

iPad with NordVPN and then WatchESPN works pretty well. With Apple TV u can then screen share to big screen from iPad.

I had to pay for a legit VPN that let me re-route through US servers. It's only a few dollars a month, and you can pay monthly so you don't have to pay for the time between the end of baseball and start of football.

When I first got to the Philippines, Orbot (free VPN) worked fine, but WatchESPN evidently figured out that I was outside the US and I had to get a paid one.

I don't understand why ESPN has that policy. I own a house in Covington and pay for a cable subscription. IMO, that should entitle me to the same access as everyone else who pays for cable in part so as to have access to WatchESPN and other similar apps regardless of where I am in the world at a given moment.

I really developed an appreciation for CheerWhine during the time period when WatchESPN stopped working and before I decided to spend money to get around it. It was during the SEC Baseball tournament and I was waking up at 3 and 4 am to catch the games.

FWIW, if all else fails the audio is available at LSUSports.net. Nothing like watching the game but better than nothing.

As far as I know you will need a VPN. I don’t believe it is available outside the US.

Reddit will have streams but are sometimes hard to find.

Why does it have to be one or the other? Why cant you enjoy North Italy and watch the game?
