It's how he built it. Now PM and the players maintain it. First and foremost are the beliefs... expectations. From everyone, fans included. Do you not think PM and the players have those expectations?
Look at basketball. Tourny appearance is a "win" for this team in the eyes of so many. THAT is what you should find sad.

No, it reality. Skip could be coaching right now and he wouldn't have the same success he had in the 90s. Yet, we are still routinely among the top 5-10 teams year in and year out.
As far as basketball, becoming a consistent tournament team is a first step to being a national power in basketball. We have to take that first step.

At home, dry, and comfortable watching on TV.

quote:We were among the top 5-10 year in and out with skip too. Difference was that he could make the right decisions when the time came. PM got it right once with Austin and that was it. Since then, he's screwed up more often than not in the post season.

quote:Not in a 1 and done world. The turnover happens so fast, that all it should take is 1 or maybe 2 good years, and, if it's going to continue, the recruits should start funneling in. We got Ben but that's it. This coach will never find that consistency. Our fans are praying for an 11 seed which might be the most depressing thing I've seen on this board.

The crowd sucked tonight. Hopefully everyone shows up for Oklahoma.

The bandwagon fans will show up against the Kentucky's and Oklahoma's in MBB. Just like they do for only the Regional and Super Regional in baseball.
Even if the team was only .500, fans should be out to support the #1 freshman in the nation.
