Where is he now-former LSU BSB Mitchell Sewald

So I just saw on Twitter a Texas Christian incoming freshman pitcher died in a car accident this morning. (Rip) I looked up their roster and was surprised that Mitchell Sewald isn't on the team and he barely pitched last season. I know he's not that old and was a huge prospect out of New Orleans (and he looked like a beanpole)... Anyone know what happened to him?
