Not many places are available. I got tix last week and tried a number of the best hotels.

They're all either booked or requiring a 2 night minimum at $299 a night.

Jump on it quick.

The best thing I could find was the Fairmont and it's a bit of a drive to the stadium.

Charleston. Leaving Tuesday afternoon and driving half way. We will either spend the night in Tallahasse or Auburn depending on which route we decide to take. Arrive in Charleston on Wed. Go to Columbia the day of game. We have done this several times and it is one of our favorite road trips in the SEC. Charleston is a beautiful city with great restaurants. Which route should we take? I-10 east through Jacksanville then north through Savannah, or go through Atlanta? Mapquest suggests either.

Flying to Charlotte then driving in to Columbia Friday afternoon. We are staying in West Columbia around the airport. Everything downtown was pretty much booked or way overpriced.

I'm staying in Charlotte. It's not a bad drive for the day of the game.

They just announced that the game is at 11:00 in the fricking morning. We have dinner reservations at a good restaurant in Charleston at 9:00 on Friday night. That's OK. You have to play in pain.

With family in Columbia. I'm definitely arriving on Friday night with the noon kickoff, not sure about Saturday night yet.
