Here is a not-so-flattering piece about Wing out of Milwaukee:

There's also a small, factual error in the article. I'll see which one of you will spot it

Based on talent alone, some personnel men and special-teams coaches say Louisiana State's Brad Wing should be the first punter selected in the National Football League draft.
Wing probably won't be, however, because of off-field transgressions and a self-promoting public persona that clubs are leery of adding to their locker room.
"Big leg, big personality," an executive in personnel for an AFC team said. "He wants the fame. He's kind of all about himself."

pretty sure you meant in the first round
Steve Little out of Arkansas was drafted in 1978 by the Cardinals in the 1st round
Sebastian janikowski was the 5th place kicker
Ray Guy was drafted in the first round by the Raiders in 1973
Charlie Gogolak was drafted in the first round by the Redskins in 1966
Russell Erxleben was drafted in the first round by the Saints in 1979

He was also supposed to be a kicker. He ended up sucking at that also in the pro's.
He shares the record for the longest field goal in NCAA history, originally set in 1977 while playing for the University of Texas.

Wing's TD was against Florida - not Georgia.

Since when did a boisterous personality become taboo for an athlete?

One NFL scout called Wing a complete fraud & a con. Said he interviewed him for over 2 hrs & that's his take on him. Apparently he came across in the combine interviews exactly as he is as a person.
