He gave up 3 runs, he was incredible but I don't think it can be an all time great performance

Right there with Laxton. Lange put the team on his back after that first inning anomaly.

I would say it is considering how fast they got on top of his pitches in the 1st. He didn't have his curve at all and it looked like his only pitch was going to be a fastball. You can be an ace all day but it's the ones that show composure are the great ones. Considering he's a freshman I'd say it's an amazing performance.

I agree it was an incredible show of ability and composure.
But there are 9 innings in a baseball game, he pitched poorly in 1 of them and gave up 3 runs. I'm taking nothing away from the way he fought back and was basically untouchable afterwards, but I don't think it's an all time great performance.
Just my opinion though

Louis Coleman had a pretty good showing 09 from what I can remember.
