Where does the misconception that Beau Jordan is a power hitter come from?

Am I missing something? I listen to the BR media and they keep referring to him as a bopper. He has the same amount of homers as Duplantis and Freeman.

Hard to hit a homer from the bench.

Any relation to Deichmann?

In all seriousness though, I've wondered this as well. I think he (Beau) HAS power potential, but until he proves it routinely I definitely wouldn't categorize him as a power hitter.

Are you saying that Romero and Adams are seeing a lot of playing time?

Not sure what playing time has to do with the point that they are homerun hitters

Really wish Adams would step up. He's got the power bat that we could use but he's never looked comfortable at the plate.

Beau could be a great assistant coach for PM hitting fly balls to the outfield in practice.

I was one who hoped the same. But he has SO many times at the slider breaking off the outside corner. Looked very bad swinging at those pitches.

Not sure where that is coming from. Only two proven power hitters on the team at this point. We have hardly seen Adams play. For the record Beau isn't one of the two and Romero doesn't play much but in basically half a season he has more career homers than anybody else on the team except obviously GD.
