Probably January. There may be some of the fringe publications putting stuff out in December. But the ones worth paying attention to will be later.

Prepare for Wake Forest and Florida to be 1-2 in a lot of them.

They have about 5 projected first round picks.

ETA: Two of them were portal adds, Seaver King from D2 Wingate and Chase Burns from Tennessee.

I'm still skeptical that Burns is going to be able to prove himself as a starter. That lab may help with all the physical stuff, his problem is between the ears.

No. Lost #1 RHP and 3B who was a big bat for them. Reloaded with transfers - stud SS and uber talented but psycho RHP from TN. Pitching still deep as hell. Plus they bring back the analytics nerd Im sure.

We will be top 5. Every publication will say "lets see if they can replace so much production."

I think I saw that Collegiate Baseball stopped publishing.

I'm pumped. I kinda expect Wake to be #1 in many publications. Honestly, rightfully so. We will be top 5 in every publication. TCU will be good. Florida will be good. Vandy and Arky will be good. Virginia, Stanford. I like Duke and Oregon St, too.

Yep. Wake Forest in 2024 will be like LSU in 2023… maybe better.

Nobody will ever be like 2023 LSU.

Better than 2023 LSU is nuts.

On paper Texas looks like they’ll be good again too. Should make for a solid Friday night in Minute Maid on March 1st.

I think LSU will have a deeper pitching staff than last year. We won't have Skenes as the bona fide top 5 draft pick, but all 3 of our starters could end up in the 1st round. And, we'll have some damn good arms out of the pen.

The offense hinges on a myriad of things: how good will Braswell and Bingham be, how much of a jump will Kling make, can Jones improve his K rate. We know what we have in Tanks and Travinski. We also know that a few lineup spots have to be figured out - is Pearson sustainable at 2B, does Brown stick, how often do we see Neal, etc. I'm not as down on our offense as what some are. I just have questions that I think will be answered positively pretty quickly.

They lost a ton of offense. That Friday night game will certainly be fun, just because of the programs and potential pitching matchups.

LSU will be top 5 in every poll. Every year I worry about the next season. I got to see LSU win at home in Super Regionals and take a victory lap at the Box in person. Then got to watch them win the CWS. I am not so worried about this season after all the let downs over the last 7 or so seasons. I am an out of state season ticket holder and was also able to make it to the big Tennessee game at the Box Skenes-Dolander that set an attendance record. I am hoping I can make it to opening day and see the new flag raised and the new intimidator.
I might not ever see another see like last year, but I am looking forward to the up coming years and the trajectory of the program is headed in the right direction.

watching this tonight

Wake Forest will be #1 in most polls. LSU will be top 5, IMO. Our O is what is in question.
