LF7 late hits/continued activity after the whistle? The UF game was ridiculous.

Hopefully sooner than later

quote:

Miles took exception to some late hits on tailback Leonard Fournette during the game and has sent those plays to the SEC offices for review.

“We’ve turned in a number of clips,” Miles said according to USA Today’s Glenn Guilbeau.

Miles thought the hits Fournette took after the whistle merited a personal foul flag, but none of them were called. Miles said he always wants to keep his players safe.

“I want to protect my players,” Miles said according to NOLA.com’s Ron Higgins. “The driving back and falling in him (Fournette). At some point that’s a personal foul.”

Les made the league office aware of it but it's not going to stop. Every team we play is trying to take Fournette out of the game. It's that simple. It's going to continue to happen and it won't be on any bigger stage than on Nov. 7th. Actually Bama probably won't be too bad about it. There's usually a pretty good amount of mutual respect between the two teams. However, all bets are off for Arkansas, Ole Miss & Texas A&M.

it really does suck that they are trying to cheap shot fournette. they can't stop him straight up so they have to resort to bush league eye gouging and ankle twisting.

I respect Miles for his effort. SEC conference office is usually slow to admit their officials made any errors.

What's gonna happen is they are gonna start throwing the flag on the LSU defense for doing less than that

This is likely true. I am convinced that the games are rigged to a large degree. Too much money involved in ratings and betting. 'Bama is a darling while LSU is the red headed stepchild in the SEC.

The media is pumping 'Bama furiously. It will get great ratings if in the playoffs. I fully expect abject corruption in the officiating of that game. All will see come Nov 7.
